In 2009, aiming to widen the Portuguese wines range, Barão de Vilar, Vinhos SA was attracted to the elegance and complexity, as well as the enviable acidity and its remarkable aging ability from the wines of Dão's Region.
With Nuno Cancela de Abreu's winemaking experience and knowledge, Barão de Vilar, Vinhos SA launched into the market the Barão de Vilar DOC Dão Red and Proeza DOC Dão Red.
